Holiday House is an international charity hosting inspiring interior design exhibitions in real homes, in this instance in Water Mill, New York. The founder Iris Dankner is a breast cancer survivor, who created the Holiday House Project to raise crucial funds for the prevention and cure of breast cancer. It was an honour to be invited to participate alongside our fellow contemporaries.
We also selected sculptural objects and furniture, from both sides of the Atlantic, to evoke Barbara Hepworth's St Ives studio, where she lived and worked whilst married to Nicholson. We carefully positioned these objects to ensure they would appear balanced from all angles in this unique and challenging circular space.
